Partner Choice Map
The map records the percent of ever married women 25-49 who report that their parents chose their husbands and they had no say in the choice (35% of all women). Another 23% of women report that their parents chose their husbands but that they had some say in the decision. 37% report the marriage was arranged jointly by their parents and themselves. Only 5% report that they chose their husbands by themselves.
